Meet Our Founder
As a Black Veteran Woman, I've faced my share of challenges both in and out of the water. My journey to create Swig® began with a near-drowning experience at a friend's pool party. Determined to learn how to swim, I found myself frustrated by the lack of options for protecting my hair without sacrificing style. This personal struggle ignited a passion to create a solution not just for myself, but for all women who've ever felt held back by hair concerns. With my background in engineering and a drive to make a difference, I spent over a year developing and patenting the Swig®. Today, I'm proud to lead a company that's changing lives one swim at a time. Our innovative products are more than just accessories - they're tools of empowerment, allowing women to participate fully in life's joys without compromise.
